Slept so good last night.
I woke up in the middle of the night and looked outside and could see a light snow falling.
Then we woke up around 6:30 to this:
There was about 2 inches of snow at the campground but more at Bryce.
We decided to bundle up, grab our coffee and camera and go back up to Bryce and see all those amazing red rocks with snow on them!
It was so fun, to see what we saw yesterday with snow!

After we took lots of pictures (I spared you with only a FEW of them) we headed back to the trailer and ate lunch, packed up the backpack with water/snacks and then headed back to Bryce to do a hike. We decided the snow was melting fairly quickly and the hike doesn't look too muddy. We had reviewed all the hikes and decided we really wanted to get down into the HooDoo's. That is what they call all those strange shaped rocks.
We went on a 4 mile hike down into the canyon and it was such a beautiful hike to see the Hoodoo's from the bottom of the canyon, looking up, even if it was a hard hike back up!
Not my best look...but my ears sure stayed warm!
My sweet B.O.B. (beast of burden) as he always says...
thankfully he was able to carry the heavy pack on our hikes.
The view right at the beginning of the hike...amazing views up-close and far-away!
HooDoo, HooDoo you think you are? :)
The rocks are so funny in shape, so often you would see an animal or a profile of a face...
what do you see?
Some of the very strangest shaped rocks...formed and ever changing by the rain, snow and wind.
Strange and yet crazy beautiful all at the same time!
I sure do love hanging out with this guy!
Look who is following me!
Parents of my grandkids...please show your kids how strong Honey is.
They will be amazed, I am sure.
When I saw this, it made me think of Meg and those 3 little stair-step boys of theirs!
Love the contrast of the blue sky, mountains and the red rock!
Probably one of my favorite pictures...of today anyway!
Look how tiny that HooDoo is? Probably won't last much longer!
